Baldwinville- Cheryl L. (Anthony) Harrington, 78, of Baldwinville, died Tuesday, November 14, at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Cheryl was born July 7, 1945, in Portland, Maine, daughter of the late Wesley and Edna (Blanchard) Anthony. She was an LPN for many years and had worked at several nursing homes and for the Department of Corrections in Shirley and Franklin County. She was a member of the St. Mark’s Church and its Altar Guild along with teaching Sunday School. She was also a member of the Monty Tech Booster Club and was involved in Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Family was everything to her, especially spending quality time with her grandchildren. She supported them in every way whether it be cheering them on at their sports events, baking or teaching Mellisa to sew.
She leaves her husband, Edward N. “Ted” Harrington, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage with on November 23rd; her children, Robert R. Harrington, Scott A. Rickert and wife Janice, Cynthia L. (Fletcher) Demar and husband Scott, Brian E. Harrington and Amy S. (Harrington) Maguy and husband Denis; her grandchildren, Matthew Demar, Alexander Fletcher, Nicholas Harrington, Kristyn Gordon, Mellisa Maguy and William Maguy; her siblings, Patricia (Anthony) Dunlevy of Marbury, MD and Wesley Anthony and wife Linda of Bridgewater; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Tuesday, November 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 22, at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
