Christopher M. DiRusso

LONGWOOD, FL----Christopher M. DiRusso, 60, of Longwood FL, passed peacefully with family by his side on December 12, 2015 at Florida Orlando Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.

Chris was born September 7, 1955 in Leominster, MA to the late Dante and Doris (Ceruto) DiRusso. He is survived by his wife, Tina, his sons: Nicholas and Domenic DiRusso of Longwood, Fl, his daughters: Angela and Nicole DiRusso of Nashua, NH, stepdaughter, Melissa Anderson of Longwood, FL, grandchildren: Giavanna, Jesse and Jackson Rutstein of Nashua, NH, his sisters: Joan Sparks, Nancy Bell and husband John, Carla Antocci and husband Robert, Amelia Peralta and his brother-in-law, Gregory Moniz all of Leominster. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Christopher was predeceased by his sister Susan Moniz in 2014.

Christopher graduated from Leominster High School and the ITT Technical School. Chris was self employed and operated his HVAC business both in Leominster and central Florida before working many years for Emerson International as their Construction Maintenance Engineer.

Chris enjoyed home projects and his handyman skills along with his mechanical background gave him the ability to fix almost anything. Chris was a truly loving soul and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

A visitation period will be held on Saturday January 23^rd from 10:30 – 11:30 am followed by a memorial service at Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. A private burial will take place in St. Leo’s Cemetery at a later date.
