"The Dash" between the dates is what matters most of all. From the beginning to the end, what mattered most to Denis was how he spent his years. Denis lived his life, unapologetically. His journey on earth, although not easy at times, was something he was always willing to talk about. Denis was proud to say that he was 25 years sober from alcohol. AA saved his life early on.
Denis loved growing and smoking pot, along with smoking cigarettes, which eventually took his life- after a long illness of COPD. Denis was a skilled Welder, who loved Rock Music, playing video games with friends, which included his nephew, Daniel. He loved having the best tools and toys. He enjoyed building and flying big model airplanes, helicopters, and trucks. He loved photography and fishing. Most of all, he loved his family.
Denis leaves his best friend and mom Claire Lamoureux, Dad, Edmond Lamoureux both of Leominster. His brother, Steven Lamoureux, and sister-in-law, Deb Lamoureux, both of Leominster, brother Mark Lamoureux of Leominster, and sister-in-law Laurie Lamoureux of East Brookfield. He leaves his sister Susan Depatie, brother-in-law, Daniel Depatie. He leaves his nieces and nephews, along with their children. Denis leaves two childhood best friends, Kevin and Debbie, and his beloved dog, Brandi. He leaves many friends from Lanessa, including but not limited to Ray, Eileen, Colleen and Cindy.
His family would like to thank Adcare Hospital of Worcester, AA, Lanessa Extended Care of Webster, MA., Hospice of Western & Central Mass for his care. A special thank you to his niece, Samantha Depatie, Traveling RN, for her unwavering support, guidance and love during his final transition of life.
