Dana S. Blood, born April 22, 1952, passed away peacefully Thursday February 11, 2021 after complications from medical issues.
A lifelong resident of Leominster and Fitchburg, Dana graduated from Leominster High School in 1970. When he was young, he shared his passion for skiing as a ski instructor at Pheasant Run. He continued his education at Lowell Technical School, graduating with a business degree that led to a successful career working in various banks and mortgage companies. Summers were spent vacationing with family at Sebago Lake, Maine. A shift in careers led Dana into hospitality management where he enjoyed playing in various pool and dart leagues. His affection for professional sports, most notably the Patriots and college football, followed him throughout his life. In his later years, Dana’s passions focused on his two grandchildren with endless love, attention and stickers.
He is predeceased by his father Bruce Blood, mother Verna (Heisson) Blood and brother David Blood.
Dana leaves behind his wife Patricia (Callahan) Blood, daughter Jessica Harris and her husband Todd, son Adam Blood and his girlfriend Traci Skoldberg, granddaughter Amelia, grandson Nathan and former wife Nancy (Weitzner) Blood.
Private services will be planned at a later date due to COVID restrictions.
