Del J. Manuel, 83, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2024 surrounded by his family. Raised in Chatham NB, Canada. Del moved to Leominster in 1958 and has resided here ever since. Del was known for his unmatched creativity in his projects and his infectious smile that brightened the room, an individual with a contagious laugh and a knack for making lasting impressions.
Del was the proud owner of and operator of Del’s Remodeling for over 50 years, providing renovation and remodeling services to numerous residents and businesses in the area. Apart from his successful career, Del had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy, including music, swing dancing, trap shooting, hunting, and a love for animals of all kinds.
He is survived by his beloved children Diana St. Hilaire (Ron), Jim Manuel (Donna), Jan Gonynor (Skip), Kim Brady (Bill), Ron White (Tammy), Randy Manuel (Betsy) and Clint Carrington, as well as 15 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Del will be dearly missed by his sisters Merina Dickson and Rita Russell, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Del was preceded in death by his parents James and Theresa Manuel, brothers Felix and Ronald Manuel, and sister Betty Bourque.
