Denise McGee - O`Clair Obituary

Denise M. (Fournier) McGee-O'Clair, known affectionately too many as Dee, passed away on April 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 19, 1952, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and deep love for those around her. Dee was the kind of person who made others feel welcome and cared for, and her presence brought warmth and comfort to her family and friends throughout her life.

Dee was the daughter of Alfred Fournier and Shirley (George) Fournier and grew up with strong family roots that remained important to her always. She was a proud 1970 graduate of Tahanto Regional High School, and after completing her education, she went on to build a life defined by hard work, independence, and compassion. For many years, she served as an Administrative Assistant, where her reliability and attention to details were appreciated by those who worked alongside her. Later, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and started her own errand business, Dee's Runabouts, through which she continued to help others with the same thoughtful care that guided every part of her life.

Family was at the center of Dee's world. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary O'Clair, who was always there for her even through the most difficult times. She leaves behind her two daughters, whom she loved so deeply, Rebecca Sadowski and her husband Eric of Fitchburg, and Tabitha Jennison and her husband Todd of Lunenburg. Dee was a cherished grandmother to Taylor, Matthew and Kayla Sadowski, Patrick and Sean Walsh and Gabriella Jennison. Dee was also blessed to know the joy of being a great-grandmother to Dylan Grace Sadowski. She also leaves behind four stepchildren and four step-grandchildren, all of whom were part of her extended family. Dee is further survived by her brother, James Fournier of Worcester.

Those who knew Dee will remember her for the many simple but meaningful things that reflected who she was. Like her cat Ziggy, whom she absolutely adored. She took great comfort in his companionship even in her final days. Dee looked forward to her monthly nail appointments with Moon. Always having her nails done with the most intricate designs which expressed her fun personality. The ocean always held a special place in her heart as she found peace and joy in its beauty. She also had a deep love for seafood, a favorite that brought her happiness and was part of the simple pleasures she enjoyed in life.

Dee was gentle, loving, and passionate, and those words describe not only how she lived but how she made others feel in her presence. She gave love freely, cared deeply for her family, and approached life with a tender spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Her kindness was steady and sincere, and her devotion to family was unwavering. She will be remembered for the way she listened, the way she cared, and the way she made ordinary moments feel special.

Her life was a testament to love, family, and resilience. Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her most. The family she built, the friendships she nurtured, and the many lives she touched will carry forward the example of her gentle spirit. Dee's legacy is one of warmth, strength and enduring affection, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
