Dianne Hebert-Calamare, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on January 21, 1944, to the late Russell Deary and Cecile (Gilbert) Deary, Dianne's life was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community.
Dianne shared a beautiful and enduring love with her husband, Philip Calamare. Together, they built a life rich in joy and companionship. She was a pillar of strength and support for her daughters, Jean Hebert of Ashburnham, Kathleen Hebert-LeBlanc and husband Daniel of Ashburnham, and Donna Arsenault of Leominster. Dianne's sister, Marien Pechie and husband Kevin of Connecticut, held a special place in her heart. Though she was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael A. Hebert, in 2003, his memory continued to be a guiding light in her life.
A proud grandmother, Dianne adored her grandchildren, Adam Arsenault, Devon O'Dell, Alyssa Arsenault-Clough, Jonathan LeBlanc, and Michael LeBlanc. Her three great-grandchildren, Abbygail, Bentlie, and Brianna Dianne, brought her immeasurable happiness. She celebrated their achievements, comforted them in times of need, and instilled in them the values of kindness and love.
Dianne's professional life was marked by her time with A & E Distributors and Nichols & Stone, where she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of her colleagues. Her involvement with the Wallace Civic Center showcased her commitment to enriching her community.
Her zest for life was contagious. Dianne's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. She relished her visits to Cape Cod where she spent her summers as a child visiting her grandparents’ home, where the ocean seemed to reflect her depth and serenity. An accomplished water-skier, Dianne once graced the top of the pyramid with poise and skill.
Dianne carried her regal grace into every aspect of her life. For 15 years, she and Philip wintered in Florida, embracing the warmth of the sun and the community they found there as well as many vacations to Aruba. Family vacations to Hampton were treasured moments, filled with laughter and the simple pleasure of being together. Dianne loved to dance, and her love for Neil Diamond's music often served as the soundtrack to many family gatherings; she was even on American Band Stand! Her Fourth of July parties were legendary, a testament to her love of celebration and her ability to bring people together.
Above all, Dianne was the epitome of kindness and loving devotion. Her warm embrace was a haven for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally. The legacy she leaves behind is one of enduring love and the gentle strength that defined her.
