Dianne Mitchell Obituary

Dianne E. Mitchell, born September 22, 1942, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Mitchell, with whom she shared a life built on love, faith, and dedication.

Born to the late Harold and Agnes Green, Dianne grew up in a large and close-knit family that shaped her generous heart and steady kindness. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank Green and Donald Green, and her sisters Janice Swett and Janet Fenwick. She is survived by her sister Floris Hancock, with whom she shared a lifelong bond filled with memories, laughter, and unwavering support.

A proud graduate of Ashby High School, Dianne went on to build a varied and hardworking career. She spent many years at Simond Saw and Steel and later at First Safety Fund National Bank, where her reliability and warm personality were deeply appreciated. She also enjoyed her time with Pampered Chef and Mona-Vie, where her friendly nature and enthusiasm made her a natural fit.

Dianne lived a life grounded in her Christian faith. She was an active member of her church community, serving at the church food pantry, singing in the choir, and offering her time and compassion wherever it was needed. Her faith guided her, and her kindness touched everyone who knew her.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, reading, crafts, music, games, and spending time at the beach. Above all, she cherished time with her family and friends, creating memories that will be held close forever.

Dianne leaves behind daughter Susan Mitchell. She was a proud grandmother to Eric Albert, Michael Quiet, Stephen Albert, and Robbie Yakusik, and a joyful great grandmother to three great grandchildren who brought her endless happiness. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Dianne will be remembered for her gentle strength, her generous spirit, and the warmth she brought to every room. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
