Edmond A. Lamoureux a lifelong resident of Leominster MA met his youngest son, Denis, at Heavens’ gate on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Edmond served in the Korean War and took part in the Atomic Bomb testing. Edmond was incredibly grateful to return to Leominster after serving, where he met the love of his life- who he referred to for 68 years as “his loveliness”.
Edmond loved people, had an incredible sense of humor, and cherished his family beyond measure. He worked tirelessly supporting his family as a meat cutter for the Demoulas/ Market Basket franchise, and would be deeply saddened to hear of Artie T.s exile from said company.
Edmond was a gifted carpenter, who was proud of the workshop he built from the ground up on his property in Leominster. He spent countless hours perfecting his wooden treasures. He loved refurbishing antique furniture, making one- of- a- kind baby cradles, rocking horses, along with clubhouse birdhouses.
Edmond leaves his beloved wife and best friend Claire, his fur baby; Brandi, his son Steve and his wife Deb of Leominster, his son Mark of Leominster, and his daughter Sue and her husband Dan of Oxford Ma. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His family would like to thank the staff at Sterling Village Rehab , along with the staff at Beacon Hospice.
Edmond will be laid to eternal rest at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon MA., on Friday, October 3 at 11:00 A.M.
