Eileen Beaudin Obituary

Eileen K. Beaudin, age 62, died at UMass University Hospital in Worcester, MA on Friday, October 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Kathleen and John and sister, Colleen.

Eileen was born in Leominster, MA on April 18, 1959 and graduated from Leominster High. Over the years she worked many places before finding her true calling. Many of you will remember her from Friendly Ice Cream, Fitchburg RMV, Worcester Fire Department, and the Jaffrey, NH School System. Her passion was working with children on the spectrum and once she found that joy, she returned to school at 60 yrs of age to gain her ABA from Quinsigamond Community College and began working for BCI in Worcester.

Eileen was super smart, creative and quick witted. Any spare moment was spent listening to music, reading a good book, watching a musical/play or with her toes in the sand. The beach was her happy place.

Keeping it real, Eileen had many obstacles in life but when she put her mind to it, there was nothing she could not accomplish. It took patience and time but she beat addiction. No one is more proud of her for that than her family.

Family and friends were so important to Eileen. She never missed an opportunity to tell those that she cared for how much she loved them. She leaves her sun, her moon, her beloved daughter Shaye VanVleck, her built in bestie and dedicated care giver – her sister Mo and her family (Jeff, Kate, Zach and especially Amelio who could do no wrong), her niece Rachel,  her cherished aunts and uncle – Joyce & Harry Nikitas, Maryalice Hurley, and her cousin Erin, her ex-husband but forever friend Gerry, her dear friends - Laura, Jeff, Shelly, Sheila, Kim, Laurie, Anne, Dawn and Jim(and so many more) and countless nieces and nephews.

The wake will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St, Leominster MA on Wednesday 10/20. Viewing from 10-12 with a celebration of life to begin at 12. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society or seek out a local addiction center and make a donation in her name. Recovery is possible.
