Eleanor D. (Grillo) Gordon

LEOMINSTER----Eleanor D. (Grillo) Gordon, 84 years old, of Leominster, died Friday, March 2, 2018 in HealthAlliance-Leominster Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Stanley I. Gordon, Jr.; 2 sons Timothy M. Gordon and his wife Pamelia of Leominster and Scott A. Gordon and his wife Cheryl of Fitchburg; daughter Michelle M. McDermott and her husband Thomas of Leominster; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers Antonio “Tony” Grillo, Liberio “Libby” Grillo, Joseph Grillo and Nicholas Grillo.

Eleanor was born January 30, 1934 in Leominster, daughter of Francesco and Raffaela (Scarale) Grillo and was a life long resident. She had worked at the former A.J. Renzi Corp, then at the former Onxy Restaurant and the Plaza Restaurant in Leominster. Eleanor was a member of St. Anna’s Parish. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods and playing Bingo.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 13^th at 10 am in St. Anna Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anna Church Building Fund, 199 Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
