LEOMINSTER --- Eleanor “Ellie” G. (Tata) Neal, 94 years old, a lifelong resident of Leominster, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, surrounded by her immediate family, after a lengthy illness in the Highlands, in Fitchburg.

Ellie was born May 9, 1923, in Leominster, the daughter of Michael and Louise (Blanco) Tata. She leaves her daughter Rita Pierce of Hudson MA, sister-in-law, Janette Proos of Leominster, and several nieces and nephews in Leominster, Northboro, Winchendon, Rhode Island, and Florida.

She was the wife of the late Francis Neal of Framingham and Francis Bergeron of Virginia.

Prior to her illness, Ellie was an avid walker, enjoyed shopping, and being at the beach.

Funeral services are private.
