Elizabeth was born in Lynn on October 19, 1936, daughter of William M. and Cecile M. (Boucher) Brooks and graduated from Lunenburg High School. She had worked at the former Foster Grants Co. in Leominster for several years. Elizabeth was a member of St. Anna Parish in Leominster. For many years she enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband and longtime friends. She had a passion for baking with her specialty being Italian cookies, apple squares and ricotta pie.

She was a selfless woman always putting others before herself. For many years while raising six children she also cared for her parents and later in life her beloved sister-in-law Rose.
