Elizabeth A. (Buswell) Salovardos

Leominster--Elizabeth “Betty” (Buswell) Salovardos of Leominster, passed away on March 24, 2023 at home.

The daughter of Clarence Buswell Jr. and Ruth (Pajari) Foley, she was born in Fitchburg and raised in Leominster. She graduated from Leominster High School and went on to work at Digital and later as a nurse’s aide at Leominster Crossing.

Betty enjoyed crocheting and knitting, BINGO, walking on the beach, shopping and camping. She loved her grandchildren and her two sons with all of her heart.

She was predeceased by her parents and step father, Edward F. Foley, her brothers, Andrew Buswell, Thomas Buswell and Walter Buswell and her sister, Mary Kittredge.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael Salovardos; her two sons, Michael and wife Christine of Shrewsbury, MA and Steven and wife Cindy of Lunenburg; one sister, Pamela R. Brown; one uncle, Frank Pajari, five grandchildren, Zak, Mia, Anthony, Sofia, and Madison, several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

The family would also to like to thank the nurses, aides and staff at Care Central VNA & Hospice in Gardner for their wonderful care.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 6 from 5-7 P.M., with a service to follow at 7:00 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. Burial will be at a later date.
