Evelyn J. (Gauthier) Lutz

LEOMINSTER--- Evelyn J. “GG” (Gauthier) Lutz, 97 years old of Leominster, died Friday April 29, 2022, in the Lifecare Center of Leominster, after an illness.

Evelyn was born February 25, 1925, in Magog, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Nelson and Clara (Rivard) Gauthier, and came to the United States (Leominster) in the 1940's. She is survived by her daughter Linda Fletcher of Leominster, 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great- great & great- great- great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Victor J. Lutz in 1989, her daughters, Sheila.

Shepardson in 2020 and Jo Ann Martino in 1996, and by her brother Guy Gauthier in 2020.

GG was a member of the former Twin City Baptist Church in Lunenburg, where she was a teacher and librarian. She also was a Baby Photographer at Leominster Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crafts, socializing, singing and being active.

A funeral service for GG will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 12 noon in the Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private at a later date. Calling hours will precede the service from 10~12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Evelyn Lutz Christian Education Fund Scholarship c/o of City United Church, 194 Electric Ave., Lunenburg MA. 01462.
