Francesca (Frankie) Carnevale Spacciapoli, 95, died on February 20, in Naples, Florida after a brief illness. Born in Rome, Italy on April 2,1927, daughter of Giovanni Carnevale and Pia Novi.
In February 1946, Frankie married Peter Spacciapoli in Rome, Italy at the end of World War II.
Frankie and Peter were life long residents of Leominster, MA, but frequently visited her family in Rome. Throughout her life, she remained devoted to her family on both sides of the Atlantic.
Frankie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter and her caring son-in-law Billy. Frankie’s life was surrounded with a very loving, and supportive family. She was blessed to have her devoted daughter, Patty, who fulfilled her life with love, joy and friendship. They traveled to Italy, spent winters in Naples, Florida, enjoyed Aruba, Las Vegas and had fun at the casinos!
Frankie enjoyed Italian cooking, crossword puzzles and Sidoku, but was most passionate about spending time with her loved ones.
Frankie is survived by her adoring grandsons, Jason(Amanda), Adam (Nichole) and her precious great grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylie, Jason, and Jaxon; they were the world to her. Frankie will be remembered as a lovely lady that shared her laughter, smiles and hugs. She will forever remain in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude’s hospital.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 17 at St. Anna's Church, 199 Lancaster St, Leominster, MA at 11:00 A.M. with a burial to follow at St. Leo Cemetery, 360 Lancaster St., Leominster.
