DiFrancesco (Reed) for 63 years; devoted father of Mark (Sheila) DiFrancesco of Leominster, MA; Matthew (Mary) DiFrancesco of Fitchburg, MA; Gregory (Mandel Davis) of Chicago, IL and Paul (Sandra Vernet) of Leominster, MA.

Gabe was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War. His career as a teacher in the Cleveland public school system lasted for over 30 years. He enjoyed teaching immensely, and was known to reach out to students who needed extra guidance.

As a proud Italian American, Gabe was a member of the Montenerodomo Citizens Club in Cleveland for many years.

Gabe enjoyed gardening, was sure to plant the holy trinity (eggplant, tomatoes and peppers) each season and was often seen tending his fig tree.  He loved his pasta dinners on Sundays, but most especially if his family was there to share the meal with him.  He also loved vacationing with his family on Prince Edward Island Canada, Virginia Beach, and Cape Cod.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations in Gabe’s memory be made to the Christian Appalachian Project.
