Genevieve F. (Healey) Cataldo

LEOMINSTER -- Genevieve F. (Healey) Cataldo, 91 years old, of Worcester, formerly of Leominster, died Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017 in St. Mary's Health Care Center of Worcester. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Cataldo of California; three sons, Edward M. Cataldo and wife, Sandie of Lunenburg, Joseph P. Cataldo and wife, Brenda of Fitchburg, and Dr. James G. Cataldo and his wife Melissa of Sterling; sister Eleanor Fanning of Fall River; brother Richard Healey of North Carolina; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years Dr. Edward A. Cataldo in 2010, by her sister Ethel Cataldo and brother Kenneth Healey.

Genevieve was born March 21, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Patrick and Anna (Dinn) Healey and had lived in Leominster for many years. She was a member of St. Anna’s Church in Leominster and the Leominster Hospital Guild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 2nd, at 11am in St. Anna's Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main Street, Leominster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Daisy’s Animal Rescue League, P. O. Box 574, Sterling, MA 01564.
