Gregory Michael Gagnon

Fitchburg- Gregory Michael Gagnon, 56, of Fitchburg, died Thursday, March 17, in his home.

Gregory was born November 21, 1965, in Keene, NH, son of the late Wilfred and the late Joyce (Rogers) Gagnon. Greg was a chef at several area restaurants over the years. He loved classic rock, especially the Grateful Dead. He was also a devout Patriots and Red Sox fan and loved fishing.

He leaves his wife, Gilzane (Xavier) Gagnon; two sons, Ryan Gagnon and Justin Gagnon; granddaughter, Zoe Gagnon (daughter of Ryan); his sister, Patricia G. Geraghty and her husband Edmund of Shirley; brother David B. Gagnon of San Jose, CA; niece, Meredith Samayoa Geraghty and husband Tonio; nephew, Matthew Geraghty; great niece Indigo Samayoa Geraghty and great nephew Andrew Samayoa Geraghty. He also leaves his caregivers to whom his family is very grateful, Amy Gonnella, Gloria Alvarado and Carla Vergara.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 3 at 4:00 P.M. at First Parish Church, Unitarian Universalist, 923 Main St., Fitchburg.
