Leominster- Harold G. Arsenault, 87, of Leominster, died Wednesday, October 20, in his family’s home after a long illness.
Harold was born August 22, 1934, in Leominster, son of the late John Arsenault and the late Edna (Matthews) Arsenault. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1951 where he played football and baseball. Harold worked as a conductor for the Boston & Maine Railroad and Amtrak for 45 years before his retirement. He was a member of Saint Cecilia’s Parish.
He leaves his son, Jay Arsenault, daughter in-law Brenda, grandson Brandon Arsenault of Leominster; two sisters, Vicky Legere and Rita Arsenault and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was predeceased by his son, David Arsenault.
A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private at a later date.
