LEOMINSTER --- Helen M. (Pelletier) Payson, 77 years old of Leominster, died Tuesday November 14, 2023 at home.

Helen was born December 27,1945 in Holden MA., the daughter of Joseph and Beatrice (Richard) Pelletier and came to Leominster in 1969. She leaves her sister Barbara Rocheleau of Leominster and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph P. Payson in 2010, her brother Richard Pelletier of St Augustine, FL; her sisters Lorraine Leger of Leominster and Joanne Hinkel of Lexington, KY.

Helen was a school bus driver for many years for McCarty & Sons Bus Line. She loved anything outdoors including, kayaking, hiking, cross country skiing, and riding her Harley. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Church and a “Hog” in F Troop.

The family would like to thank her caregiver Mary Wanjiku for the exceptional care and friendship given to Helen.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 11am in Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Fitchburg. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. www.richardsonfuneralhome.net
