Irene Viau, 95 years old, of Leominster passed away peacefully on Friday May 1st at Leominster Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Leominster, daughter of Leopold and Rollande (Desilets) Rocheleau on February 2, 1931.
She was a member of Saint Cecilia's Church.
She leaves behind two daughters Joyce Valeri, married to David and Lynn Richard married to Rene, one son James Viau, married to Sue and also daughter in-law Maureen Viau. Also, granddaughters Jennifer Viau, Jessica Viau and Allison Radler, grandsons Jason Viau and Matthew Valeri, as well as, great grandchildren Nathan, Emily, Brian, Ben, Katarina and Julian.
Irene's husband Arthur and son Chris pre-deceased her. Also, her brothers Norman, Leo, Gillis, Roland, and her sisters Jeanette and Cecile.
Irene spent 49 years as a bookkeeper for her dad's business, Rocheleau Tool and Die.

A graveside service will be held on Friday May 15th at St Cecilia Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
