LEOMINSTER----Jane Marie (Mitchell) Grenache, 63 years old, of Leominster, died Monday, November 28, 2016 in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Peter P. Grenache, her daughters Christine M. Grenache of Waltham and Michelle M. Grenache and her fiancé Giberto Cunha of Waltham, stepson Stephen P. Grenache of Leominster, brother Robert R. Mitchell, Jr. and his wife Judith of Hudson, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Mark O. Mitchell in 1978.
Jane was born September 26, 1953 in Natick, daughter of Robert R. and Ann (Costigan) Mitchell and grew up in Hudson. She graduated from Hudson High School and from Massachusetts Bay Community College. Jane had worked for several years at the former Digital Equipment Corp and most recently was a bookkeeper at the office of David J. Singleton, CPA in Leominster. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster.
Jane was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, loved traveling, going to the beach and spending time with her family. She enjoyed many things, but she especially loved Peanut Butter M&M’s.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 5th at 10 am in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 4th from 4-7 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral home, 106 West Street, Leominster.
