Jason M. Contois, age 55, succumbed to his injuries sustained on August 3, at the Worcester Recovery Center where he was a mental health resident for the past 2 ½ years. Jason struggled with Schizophrenia for most of his life.
Jay was born December 31, 1965, the son of Morris and Amreau (Gordon) Contois. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1983 and then went to work at R & M Manufacturing for a time. He also worked briefly at Taco Bell and T.J. Maxx. Jason also earned a certificate in HVAC.
Jason is survived by his brother John and his wife Pauline of Fitchburg; three sisters, Joyce and her husband Robert Greenough of Leominster, Jenine Contois of Leominster and Julie, wife of Malcolm Wheeler of Berlin. Jason was the loving and kind uncle to his three nieces, Rebecca Acree, Laura Cove and Emily Wheeler and one nephew, Bryan Greenough. Jason is also survived by three great nieces, Isabelle and Charlotte Acree and Lily Cove.
Burial will be private at a later date.
