Jeffrey "Jeff" R. Landry

Jeffrey R. Landry, known to family and friends as Jeff, passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on October 21, 1965, in Leominster, he lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and the strong bonds he formed with those around him.

Jeff was born to Richard Landry and Carol J. (Fontaine) Landry and grew up in Leominster, where he built the foundation for the life he would go on to live. He carried with him the values of his hometown throughout his life, and he made lifelong friends there who remained an important part of his story. Though he eventually made his home in Haverhill, where he passed away, he never lost the connection to the place where he was raised or the people who knew him best.

Jeff spent many years working for companies in and around Boston as an engineer second class. He was recently retired after a long career, and he took great pride in the strong work ethic that defined him. He was known as someone who could be counted on, a man who approached his responsibilities with determination, skill, and a practical, handy nature that served him well both at work and in everyday life. His colleagues and friends knew him as someone who did not shy away from a challenge and who believed in doing a job the right way.

He is survived by; his sister Christina “Tina” Peters of Leominster, his sister Sonja Rossi of Rutland, and his brother Kurt Landry and his wife Kate Landry of Ashby. As well as his siblings; Terrie Bedard and Cliff Boynton. He also leaves behind his nephews and niece; Justin Bergeron, Joshua Peters (Will), Nick St. Cyr, Barrett LaBonte, Cole Landry and Maeve Landry. He also leaves behind is great-nephew Nathaniel Bergeron, and his great-niece McKenna Bergeron. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Cheryl and Michael “Mike” Dougherty, and his cousins Cindy Driver (Chris), Colleen, Lucas (Ralph Torres), Matthew Doherty, and other extended family members.

Jeff was also blessed with many close friendships that brought joy and companionship to his life. He shared lasting bonds with Frank Mello, Dave Britt, and Steve Benoit, along with many other friends who will remember his loyalty, his easy presence, and the good humor he brought to those around him. These friendships were an important part of who he was, and they reflected the steady and dependable nature that so many admired in him.

Those who knew Jeff will remember him as a man who was handy, hardworking, and genuine. He had a way of helping others, solving problems, and lending support when it was needed. His life was built on quiet strength, family ties, and the respect he earned through years of devoted work and steadfast character.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Foundation.

A funeral Mass will be held for Jeff on Wednesday, July 15 at 11:00 AM in St. Cecilia’s Church, Leominster.
