John "Jack" A. Sambito
February 3, 1947 – April 25, 2025
John “Jack” A. Sambito, 78, of Leominster, passed away on April 25, 2025, at Leominster Hospital after an illness. He was born on February 3, 1947, in Leominster, where he grew up, the son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Flynn) Sambito.
Jack is survived by his wife, Jayne Sambito; his son, Jake Sambito; his daughter, Kerri King; and his grandchildren, Nicole Sambito, Madison King, and Mason King. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sharon Sambito, Betty Tetreault and her husband Joey, Tony Sambito, Michael Carter, and Stephen Carter; his “bonus daughter” Mercedes Silvestri; and his “bonus sister” Eileen Sambito. He was known as “Uncle Jack” to Tom and Barbara Sambito and their children, Rachel and Steven, as well as to Pete Kymalainen and Jennifer O’Leary.
In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his siblings Kathy Reichert, Tommy Sambito, and Butch Sambito.
Jack retired from Townsend Ford, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature. He was also a proud member of the Woods of Westminster Golf Club, where he enjoyed countless rounds with friends. An avid golfer, Jack loved the game and was especially proud of achieving a hole-in-one – a memory he treasured.
He will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and kind spirit by all who knew him. Jack cherished his family and friends, and his memory will live on in their hearts.
