John "Jack" Wilson Obituary

John “Jack” Henry Wilson, 67, died Sunday January 26th at home, surrounded by family, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born August 2nd, 1957 in Leominster MA. to Trevor and Marie Wilson.

He worked for 40 years as a skilled Mason, using his expert vision to construct beautiful stoneworks and leave a lasting imprint on his and many other communities. Jack was a dedicated family man, selflessly donating his time to family and friends no matter the circumstances.

Jack spent many nights with friends, skillfully skunking opponents at cribbage, or scoring points at shuffleboard. An avid fan of sports, Jack spent his youth on the rink, playing hockey for the Standard Rams. He faithfully cheered on his favorite hometown teams, attending Bruins and Red Sox games, as well as hosting his annual Super Bowl party.

Jack’s boundless capacity to love touched many lives. He lived with his best friends Donna Wilson and Hector Pena, and stayed close with his friends, the “Fras”.

Jack is preceded in death by his beloved son John “Willy Wilson, and is survived by his brother Chip Wilson and his sister Lynne Wilson, as well as his three daughters, Monique Meza, Krystal Godin-Pollock and her husband Michael Pollock, Danielle Wilson, his son Eric Meza, and his grandkids Emilio Herrera, Neiko Herrera, Jiovanni Herrera, Mateo Ferreira, Makayla Marlow, Tyler Godin, Kingston Meza, and Colton Pollock.
