Joseph A. Dufresne, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in his hometown of Leominster, Massachusetts, where he was also born on January 5, 1963. Joseph’s life was characterized by his loving nature, friendly demeanor, and spirited heart, touching the lives of all who knew him.

Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Dina (Dupuis) Dufresne, and his three children: son Jason Dufresne of Ohio, and daughters April Jean Dufresne of Worcester, MA, and Debra Grace Dufresne of Templeton, MA. His legacy continues to shine brightly through his six grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Rose Dufresne of Jackson, GA, and Coreen Minko of Lancaster, MA, along with numerous nephews and nieces who will miss his guidance and humor. Joseph was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Geneva (Maillet) Dufresne, and by his sister Laura Jean Dufresne in 1971.

For over two decades, Joseph dedicated himself as a printer at Leaktite Corporation in Leominster. His commitment to his work was evident in the quality and care he put into every task. Joseph’s colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon, both professionally and personally.

Joseph’s interests were as vibrant and diverse as his personality. He had an enduring love for the beach and found serenity in camping with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. His passion for music was unmatched, and he had a particular fondness for Elvis Presley. Not only did Joseph enjoy listening to the King of Rock 'n' Roll, but he also shared his admiration through his talent for impersonation, bringing joy and laughter to those around him at karaoke nights and family gatherings.

His love for music extended to all genres, reflecting his open and accepting nature. Joseph’s spirit was one of inclusivity, and his ability to create friendship and harmony through his interests was truly remarkable.

Joseph's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and joy. He approached each day with the intention of making a positive impact on the world, and his success in this endeavor is evident in the legacy he leaves behind. His memory will continue to be celebrated by those who were fortunate enough to experience his warmth and enthusiasm for life.
