GARDNER --- Judy Faye (Woods) Eady, 70 years old, of Gardner, died in the early morning hours of Monday, August 30, 2021 at U-Mass Memorial, University Campus, Worcester.
Judy was born December 18, 1950 in Loris, South Carolina, was the daughter of Samuel and MaryAnne “Mamie” (Franklin) Woods. She with her husband and two sons moved to Massachusetts in November of 1991. She leaves her husband of 47 Years, Charles E. Eady, two sons Percy Eady Sr. and his wife Jennifer of Athol, and Pernell Eady Sr., and his wife Jessica, of Jacksonville Florida, 12 grandchildren, Jazmyn Vautour, Jaylynn Eady, Dakari Eady, Lyric Eady, Mekhi Eady, Paisley Eady, Jaya McBroom, Jeavannia Eady, Percy Eady Jr, Justice Eady, Pernell Eady Jr, Emorie Eady, her sister Nora James of Leominster, and a host nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Sammy Woods of Georgia, John Woods of North Carolina, and Elijah Woods of Georgia, her sister Gloria McCallum of South Carolina, and her granddaughter, Journye Eady.
Judy graduated from Finklea High School, in Loris, South Carolina in 1970. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Naval ROTC Department at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA before retiring. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in Leominster. She enjoyed fishing, watching soap operas, watching the New England Patriots and reading the Bible.
A funeral service will be held on Friday September 3, at 10am in the Richardson Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, September 2 from 4~ 6PM.
