LEOMINSTER---Kathleen A. (Connell) Mullaney, 87 years old, of Leominster, died Monday, December 28, 2015 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. "Kay" is survived by her children, Kathleen A. Mullaney of Suffield, Connecticut, Thomas J. Mullaney and his wife Marsha of Princeton, John R. Mullaney and his wife Erin of Brewster, Mark C. Mullaney of Leominster, Sharon A. Fowler and her husband John of Milford, Connecticut and James K. Mullaney of Leominster; 2 sisters, Ann McInerney and Mary Hardy both of Fitchburg; close friend and neighbor JoAnn Reddy of Leominster; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband James T. Mullaney, Jr., a brother Rev. John Connell and 2 sisters Eileen Dedeian and Madeline Osgood.

Kay was born August 11, 1928 in Fitchburg, daughter of John and Catherine (Fenton) Connell and had lived in Leominster for nearly sixty years. She graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg and was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster. Kay loved her dog Pinnie.

Kay’s funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 4th from 9:30 -10:30 am in the funeral home.
