Kathleen E. (Murphy) Wood

Kathleen E. (Murphy) Wood, born on August 6, 1946, in Leominster, MA, peacefully concluded her life journey on November 10, 2023.   She was predeceased by her husband, Norvial (Eddie) Wood, her parents, James W. Murphy, and Kathleen F. (Griffin) Murphy, her brothers, James W. Murphy Jr., and Richard M. Murphy, and sister Caroline Murphy.

Survived by her 2 sons, Mark T. O’Connor, his wife Shelly & their daughters Kelsey and Katie and Eric J. O’Connor & his wife Kelley, & their son Tim; a daughter Tara K. O’Connor & her partner Patrick Driscoll; as well as her brother, David L. Murphy & his wife Wendy, sisters Ellen P. Murphy & husband John Houlihan and Sarah A. Svolis & her husband Steve & many nieces and nephews.

Her love and dedication to her family and her closest friend, Janis Eydenberg, was her highest priority. She welcomed all to her longtime home on Winter Street, no one was a stranger!

Calling hours are Saturday, November 18, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster.
