Kathryn M. (Stone) Crain

LEOMINSTER---Kathryn M. (Stone) Crain, 93 years old, of Leominster, died Friday, January 15, 2016 in the Wingate of South Hadley. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen M. Crain, sons J. Edward Crain and Stephen A. Crain, sister Abigail Benkeser, and a grandson. She was predeceased by her husband John H. Crain, Jr., son Christopher A. Crain, daughter Linda E. Crain and brother Richard E. Stone.

Kathryn was born July 18, 1922 in Holyoke, daughter of Edward F. and Katherine S. (Keough) Stone and had lived in Leominster since 1957. She was a teacher at Fitchburg High School, before retiring in 1986. Kathryn was a member of St. Leo’s Church.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. There are no calling hours. .
