Kelly Ann Lane, aged 49, of Leominster, Massachusetts, died at home on Saturday, March 28, 2020, after a thirty-six-year battle with thyroid cancer. She was surrounded by family during her final days.

Kelly was born on February 15, 1971 in Southampton, New York. She graduated from Southampton High School in 1989 and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1993. It was during this time that she met Eric, her future soulmate, when she was introduced to him by her college roommate and best friend, Ann Shaffer. Kelly and Eric were married on June 10, 1995. They welcomed their beloved son, Chad Alfred in 1993, and their beloved daughter, Colby Ann in 2001.
Kelly spent her professional career as a human resources generalist. Over the years, she worked at many different companies in various capacities. Kelly gave tirelessly to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, serving as a Greater Gardner Area Relay For Life Chairperson from 2005-2009. In addition, she was a longtime member of the Greater Gardner Area’s team, On Angels’ Wings.
Kelly found joy in so many places. She loved attending her daughter’s Irish stepdance performances; going out for mid-week lunch dates with her son; spending weekends watching the loons at her cabin on Partridge Lake; reading and gardening; spreading her Christmas spirit; eating lobster and Ferrero Rocher chocolates; and going to the beach.
Kelly will always be remembered for courageous mind-set, loving nature, sunny disposition, fierce energy, perpetual kindness, spiritual leadership, and her gorgeous smile that lit up every room.
