Kenneth C. Meade

 Kenneth C. Meade, 76, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina formerly of Leominster Massachusetts died on December 16, 2021 after a brief illness.

He was born in Leominster, on May 22, 1945 to Kenneth E. Meade and Elida (Funari) Meade. Ken attended Leominster public schools and graduated Leominster High in 1963.

Ken is predeceased by his parents and first wife Mary (Maloney) Meade. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, his two children, Kristin (Meade) Manduca and her husband Vincent of Leominster, Sean Meade and his wife Kira of Fort Bragg, California, his three grandchildren; Michael, Mary Lynn, and Jack, three great grandchildren, his sister Peg (Meade) Radley and husband Tim, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Ken was known for his love of family, his quick wit, his joke telling, his avid reading, his love of trivia and his love of golf. He was heavily involved in the promotion of golf in Hilton Head Island and will be sorely missed.

A funeral service for Ken will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11am in the Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster. A Calling hour will precede the funeral from 10~11am. Private burial.
