Kenneth Ollen Obituary

PRINCETON --- Kenneth Stanley Ollen, 60 years old, of Princeton, died February 14, 2018 in Leominster from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Ken was born December 1, 1957, in Chelsea MA, the only son of Stanley and Mabel (Reid) Ollen. He leaves his partner and love of his life Nancy (Laverty) Hoell, Gail Ollen the mother of his children/best friend and sparring partner, 2 sons, Seth Ollen of New York and Noah Ollen of Fitchburg, his brothers in friendship, Rico Morales and Danny Monteverde, his niece Melissa Whitehead and her daughters Bella and Illi, and many other nieces and nephews. Ken was also loved by Nancy’s family, Ben and Mandy Hoell and their children Otto and Charlotte, and Brian and Mary Jones and their children Abraham and Jeremiah.

Ken attended Chelsea schools, and attained his Bachelors Degree while in the military. He was employed for over 25 years as a Senior Project Support Engineer at Dell-EMC. Ken served in the US Army in J Co 305th MI BN. for 10 years, attaining the rank of SSG. He received the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2) , Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal , Sharpshooter M-16 Rifle, Army Lapel Button, and Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award). He loved music, all sports especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, he was an animal lover, loved nature, and loved spending time at Hampton Beach. He also was an Honorary Member of the Cup Crusaders. Ken loved his friends at the GazBar and 435 whom he considered his 2nd family. Ken loved his life, the people in it, and was loved by everyone that knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5pm - 7pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leominster Cup Crusaders 228 Bayberry Hill Lane, Leominster MA. 01453.
