Lea Caserma Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lea Ann Caserma, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on January 24, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on October 11, 1962, in the beautiful state of Hawaii, Lea's vibrant spirit and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lea was the cherished daughter of Ferdinando and Joanne (Fiorentino) Caserma, who preceded her in death. She grew up in a loving family and forged strong bonds with her siblings, leaving behind her sister, Cynthia Caserma, and her brothers, Frank, Mark, and Fred Jr. Lea also held a special place in her heart for her sister-in-law, Colleen, her cousin Christine Lisciotti and her nieces and nephews: Courtney Durost, Jillian Caserma, Travis Caserma, and Dominic Caserma. Their memories of her will remain etched in their hearts, as she was a dedicated and loving aunt who always made time for family gatherings and treasured moments.

A proud graduate of Leominster High School, class of 1981, Lea found her calling in customer service. For 30 years, she devoted herself to New England Business Service, now Deluxe, where she was known for her warmth, patience, and unwavering support for her colleagues and customers alike. Her professionalism and dedication were truly admirable, and she built lasting relationships throughout her career.

Lea was not only committed to her work but also actively participated in her community. She was a devoted member of St. Anna's Church in Leominster, MA, where she contributed her time and spirit to various church activities. Her faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her and providing solace to those around her.

In her free time, Lea enjoyed indulging in her favorite pastimes, particularly football and traveling. Whether she was cheering for her favorite team or exploring new places, her zest for life was infectious, and she inspired those around her to embrace adventure and joy.

Lea's life was marked by a gentle spirit and a selfless nature. Although she never married, she created a family of friends who loved her dearly. Her laughter and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a calling hour that will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM at Richardson Funeral Home, located at 106 West St., Leominster, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lea's memory to Gateways Community Services in Nashua, NH, and The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, organizations that align with her compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others.

Lea Ann Caserma's legacy of love, friendship, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a difference in the lives of so many.
