Linda Graham Obituary

Mrs. Linda Lou Graham, known lovingly as Linda, age 68, of Massachusetts, passed away on April 16, 2026, after a life marked by kindness, faith, and devotion to others. She was born on August 31, 1957, in Peterborough, and throughout her life she carried herself with a gentle spirit, a warm heart, and a sincere concern for the well-being of those around her.

Linda believed in caring for others, speaking with kindness, and meeting life’s challenges with grace. Those who knew her will remember her as loving, friendly, and thoughtful, a woman who made others feel welcome and valued. Her life reflected the quiet strength of a servant’s heart and the steady comfort of a person who understood the importance of compassion.

She was the beloved wife of William Graham, and their life together was built on love, companionship, and enduring commitment. Linda treasured her family deeply and held close the memory of those who went before her, including her father, Walter Earl Petersen, and her mother, Leona (King, Buswell) Petersen. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Liona Mable (Buswell) Pollier. She is survived by her sisters, Claire Constance (Buswell) Freeland, Willa Mae Buswell, Ruth Ann (Petersen) Garrity, and Mary Jane (Petersen) Wheaton, who will continue to cherish her memory and the bond they shared.

Linda was a loving aunt to Michelle (Pollier) Culross, Renay (Pollier) Couture, Jennifer (Freeland) Schur, Holly (Wheaton) Bosserman, Kristi (Wheaton) Healey, Chelsea Henkel, and Lauren (Henkel) Kilanoski, and she was also a beloved aunt to Joseph Petersen, her nephew. Her family brought her great joy, and she was grateful for the many relationships that enriched her life. She will be remembered with affection by all who were blessed to know her.

Linda pursued her education in Culinary Arts at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, reflecting her interest in skill, service, and practical learning. Her education helped shape a life in which she valued hard work and care for others. She carried that same spirit into her career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, serving at numerous medical facilities with patience and dedication. Among her many years of service, she gave 18 years to Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Massachusetts, where her kindness and steady presence made a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and coworkers.

Her work as a CNA was more than a job. It was a calling that allowed her to live out her compassion in a tangible way. She offered comfort, dignity, and encouragement to those in need, and she did so with humility and grace. Her coworkers and those she cared for will remember her as dependable, gentle, and sincere, someone who brought peace and reassurance into difficult moments.

Outside of her work, Linda found joy in simple pleasures that reflected her tender nature. She loved caring for wild birds and small animals, showing a special appreciation for God’s creatures and the beauty of the natural world. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with video games, pastimes that brought her happiness and relaxation. These interests were a part of the life she built, a life that included both service to others and moments of personal enjoyment.

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, her sisters, her nieces, her nephew, and all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and thoughtful care that will not be forgotten. Though she has gone home to be with the Lord, the example of her life remains a blessing to those who loved her.

Linda’s life was a testament to the beauty of a faithful heart and the quiet power of kindness. She will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
