Linda Moriarty Obituary

It is with crushed hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Susan Moriarty.

Linda was born on August 30, 1963 and went home to Heaven on December 14, 2024.

Linda overflowed with love for her family and friends.  She was the most loving daughter, sister, best friend, aunt, niece, sister-in-law and Godmother.  Her goal was to make you feel comfortable, engaging you in conversation and always laughter.  Linda was an extremely hard worker.  She began her working career at Leominster Hospital in the Transportation Department and then as a receptionist in the Emergency Department. She was a graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School in 1981.  She went on to become a Registered Nurse after graduating from Leominster Hospital School of Nursing in 1984.

Linda worked in Leominster Hospital Emergency Department right out of nursing school and before long, she began to travel the world.

She loved to travel and combined her love of people, nursing and having fun by finding nursing jobs that helped her do all those things.  She worked on a cruise ship and did traveling nursing and landed in Hawaii for 20 years where she had spectacular adventures and made many wonderful friends.  Linda was generous with her love, her laughter and all the amazing things she had in life.  She shared every beautiful experience she lived by including family and friends on all her adventures.  She always made it known everyone was welcome wherever she was.  She has been home in Leominster for the last 12 years and although she has had many health issues she has always been the brightest light in our life.

Linda has left a massive void in the hearts of her loved ones left behind; her loving mother Carol Moriarty; her sister Donna Allen and her daughters Anelise and Alyssa Allen; her brother Joseph T. Moriarty Jr. and his wife Diana and their daughters Jennifer Landers and her husband Cam and their daughter Lyla Carol Landers and Samantha Moriarty; her sister Karen Reddington and her husband Rob and their children Lauren and Kevin Reddington and her sister Kelly Moriarty.   She leaves many more family, friends and loved ones and everyone she has left will not be the same without her infectious love and silly ways.

She is pre-deceased by her nephew Michael Moriarty, her brother-in-law Charles Allen and her father Joseph T. Moriarty, as well as many other aunts, uncles and loved ones.

Linda's family would like to thank the CCU staff at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster who provided outstanding, compassionate care to Linda over the last two weeks.

Honor Linda's legacy by loving the people God gave you every second you can.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Clinton, there are no calling hours.
