Loran Foster Tinker passed away September 7, 2023 and will be missed by so many.
He was born April 22, 1928, to Foster and Evelyn Ramey Tinker in Somerville MA, and graduated from Unity High School, Unity Maine, where he met and married his wife Marjorie of 69 years.
Loran was an Army Korean War Era veteran and was stationed at Fort Devens, MA. He and his growing family moved to Leominster in 1956.
He worked as a machinist at many of the plastic shops in Leominster and retired from Tucker Manufacturing in 1998.
Loran sang in the choir at United Methodist Church for 35 years and with the Ashby Oratorio Society singing the Messiah every Christmas. He and Marjorie enjoyed their retirement by antiquing, reading, and loved visiting with the Grandkids.
He was predeceased by his wife Marjorie of 69 years and leaves five children, daughter Debbie and husband Paul Cardone of Burleson, TX, son Stephen and wife Tetyana of Fort Worth, TX, daughter Cynthia of Leominster, MA, son Paul and life partner Lisa of Georgetown, MA, daughter Jean Russell and husband Rodney of N. Hatfield MA.
He also leaves 15 Grandchildren, Diana Estabrook of ME, Dennis Cardone, Katie Krumm, Daniel Tinker, Joyce Vescovi, and Jon Paul Tinker all of Texas, Joey Parmenter, Kristen Yezierski, Michael Parmenter, Gina Dickinson, Nathan, Matthew, Samosette, and Patrick Tinker all of MA, and Timothy Carter of NH.
In addition, he leaves 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother-in-law Paul Myrick of NH and sister-in-law Carol Myrick of VA, 10 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by his son David, daughter Elizabeth Freeman, grandson Brian Cardone and great grandson Jonathan White.
