Louis R. Simeoni

PHILADELPHIA, PA ----Louis R. Simeoni, 91, passed away at his residence Thursday, May 19, 2016, an Army veteran of WWII. Louis was born August 26, 1924 in Leominster, son of Stefano and Madelena Simeoni. Louis was a graduate of the College of Holy Cross (undergraduate studies) and University of Massachusetts (graduate studies). Louis was a 33 year employee of the Philadelphia Health Department. He retired in 1987.

Louis leaves his beloved wife, Gilda, son Stephen (Sharon), daughters Christine (Timothy) and Kathryn (Thomas), grandchildren Leslie (Kent), Elizabeth and Matthew, great grandchildren Julian and Gabriel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10 am in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Matthew Sanctuary Fund, 3000 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149.
