FITCHBURG- Louise Irene (Gagne) Touchette, 89, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully in her home on July 20, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Fitchburg, on July 23, 1931, daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret (Facey) Gagne. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Touchette, five-year-old daughter, Deborah in 1959, sister, Dorothy (Gagne) Card and brothers, Wilford and Raymond Gagne.

Louise is survived by her sister, Rita (Gagne) Touchette of SC; daughter, Donna (Touchette) Yezierski and her husband, Jerome; sons, Kevin Touchette, James Touchette and his wife, Darlene; daughter, Lisa Touchette and fiancée, Sonia Carestio. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Louis loved bowling, camping and spending time with friends and family. One of her biggest passions was fostering children in the Fitchburg community. Louise was a General Practice Nurse. She will always be remembered for her radiant smile, big heart, selflessness and compassion.
