Lucille M. (Castriotta) Brissette

LEOMINSTER---Lucille M. “Lucy“ (Castriotta) Brissette, 85 years old of Leominster, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 after a brief illness. She leaves her son Wayne P. Brissette of Leominster; grandson Joseph Brissette of Lunenburg; 4 sisters Phyllis R. Raffaele, Sandra J. Boissoneau and her husband James, Janice L. Grubb and her husband Larry and Ann E. Marchetti all of Leominster; brother Raymond Castriotta and his wife Gloria of Barre, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Brissette in 1999.

Lucy was born in Leominster on April 15, 1932, daughter of Luciano and Evelyn (Faubert) Castriotta. She was an honors graduate of Leominster High School in 1950 and had worked in the office at the former Selig Mfg. Co., D.F. Weymouth Express and Commonwealth Plastics.

Lucy was an avid walker, enjoyed gardening, and attending Bible studies. She also enjoyed having Bible studies in her home. Lucy was a Born Again Christian and attended the Christian Life Center in Leominster. In the past she was a greeter, nursery worker, was in the Sunday school ministry and prison ministry.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30^th at 11 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11 am in the funeral home.
