Obituary
Maccia Lea Melina Latortue passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023.
She lived a fruitful and comfortable life, born in Gonaives, Haiti in 1929,
to the late Ciceron Latortue and Marcelle St Amand. She was predeceased by her 5 siblings.
Melina, as she is known by most, moved to Massachusetts in 1984 to continue raising her
children and grandkids, keeping them full of laughter, food and great stories. She is survived by
her seven children: Junie Merlin and husband, Jacque. Jean Eddy Syllien, Fred Syllien, Leslie
Norgaisse and wife, Margaret. Yseult Norgaisse, Yanick Norgaisse and husband, Mozart. And
Vladymir Norgaisse. She will also be missed by her 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren,
with 2 on the way! Her legacy also continues in surviving by a multitude of nieces, nephews,
cousins and close family friends.
Calling hours will be held at Richardson Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Annas Parish, 199 Lancaster St., Leominster. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 257 Main St., Leominster.
