LEOMINSTER----Madeline “Maddy” E. (Brooks) Hildreth, 69 years old, of Leominster, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth E. Hildreth; son Michael Hildreth and his wife Amy of Ashburnham; daughter Ellen Hildreth of Leominster; 2 sisters Arlene Couture of Florida and Kathleen Bergeron of Leominster; 2 grandchildren Lauren Hildreth and Michael Hildreth; a great grandson Zachary Forbes; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James Brooks and sister Mary Jane Cuddahy.
Maddy was born in Leominster on February 8, 1949, daughter of Edward F. and Arlene A. (Andrews) Brooks and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster. Maddy enjoyed spending time with her husband, talking with her sisters, taking walks and playing games. She was so proud of her children. Her life revolved around her family, especially seeing her grandchildren and great grandson.
Maddy’s funeral will be held on Thursday, October 25th from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 24th from 5-7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
