LEOMINSTER--Marie Helen (LaCroix) Chapman, 81 years old of Nashua, NH formerly of Leominster, died Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. She is survived by her daughter Annette I. Clermont of Nashua, NH; 3 sons David N. Chapman and his wife Carolyn of South Carolina, John H. Chapman of Nashua, NH and Raymond H. Chapman and his wife Mary of Gardner; a sister Betty Legere of Cape Cod; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and may nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband David E. Chapman in 1999, sister Irene Viens and her brother Nelson LaCroix, Jr.

Marie was born December 15, 1938 in Leominster, daughter of Nelson and Helen (Spring) LaCroix, Sr. and had lived in Leominster most of her life. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1957 and had worked as a seamstress for many years. She retired from Shanklin Corporation in Ayer in 2010 after working there for 20 years. Marie enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.
