Marion Luchford

Marion Louise (Deery) Luchford was born in Fitchburg, MA on December 13, 1926 daughter of the late Arthur P. and Elsie C. (Pierce) Dreery. She lived in Leominster, MA for 50 years until her death. Her husband Rodney E. Luchford of 69 years who died in 2018.

Marion graduated from Fitchburg High School class of 1944 and attended Steven Business College. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where she was married in 1948 and taught Sunday School.

She lived in Fitchburg until 1956 then moved to Westminster where she resided until 1971 before moving to Leominster. She was a member of the The First Congregational Church in Westminster where she served as a Deaconess and The Treasurer of the Women’s Fellowship as well as teaching Sunday School. She was a past Matron of Lady Emma Chapter No. 27, O.E.S.in Fitchburg from 1959-1960. She also worked at Foster Grant Co. In Leominster and Independent Lock Co. of Fitchburg and was a bookkeeper for Luchford’s Service Center for 23 years before retiring in 1985. She was a homemaker/home health aide working out of Fitchburg while living in Westminster. She was also involved with the Girl Scouts and Brownie Troops for many years. Marion leaves one daughter, Barbara Cipriano of Leominster, four grandchildren, Traci Knieriemen, Randy Bean, Pamela (Bergeron) Nichols, and Patrick Nichols all of New Hampshire, five great-grandsons, Joshua Nichols, Jacob Martel, Mathieu Bergeron, Caleb Tilton, and Riley Bean., two great grand-daughters Amber Knieriemen and Lilianna Bean, two great-great grandsons Landin and Mason Martel, many nieces and nephews who were very close to you. She was predeceased by her husband Rodney E. Luchford, brother, John Deery, two sisters Dorothy Aho, Ruth Ethier and her beloved daughter Diane Luchford (Bean) Pinkowski.

Funeral services will be private and held at Richardson's Funeral Home.
