Obituary

LEOMINSTER, MA-----Marjorie Myrick Tinker passed away May 27, 2020 and will be missed by so many.

She was born December 23, 1930 to Lloyd and Ruth Bagley Myrick in Troy Maine, graduated from Unity High School where she met her husband Loran of 69 years. She earned her Associates Degree in Early Education from Farmington State Teachers College, now part of the University of Maine system.

She was a substitute teacher for the Leominster School District, worked at Victory Market for several years and the catalog department of Sears until she retired. She enjoyed her retirement by antiquing with her husband, reading, and loved visiting with the Grandkids.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church where she sang alto in the adult choir and was the director of the Children’s Choir for many years.

She leaves Loran and seven children, Debbie and husband Paul Cardone of Fitchburg, MA, Stephen and wife Tetyana Tinker of Fort Worth, TX, Cynthia Tinker of Leominster, MA, David and wife Stacy Tinker of Burleson, TX, Paul Tinker and life partner Lisa Sanborn of Georgetown, MA, Jean Russell, and husband Rodney Odette, of N Hatfield, MA and Elizabeth Freeman and life partner Barry vanVleet of Sterling, MA.

She also leaves 15 Grandchildren, Diana Estabrook of ME, Dennis Cardone, Katie Krumm, Daniel Tinker, Joyce Vescovi, and Jon Paul Tinker all of Texas. Joey Parmenter, Kristen Yezierski, Michael Parmenter, Gina Dickinson, Nathan, and Matthew Samosette all of MA, Patrick Tinker of LA, Timothy Carter of NH, and Nicole Noble of VA.

In addition, she leaves 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother Paul Myrick of NH and her sister Barbara and husband Clayton Blood of ME, and sister in law Carol Myrick of VA, 10 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Phillip and Warren “Pete” Myrick, grandson Brian Cardone and great grandson Jonathan White.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
