Mary Foster Obituary
LEOMINSTER--Our beloved mother, Mary M. (Baldasaro) Foster, 87, passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Mary was born on October 31, 1936 in Bellows Falls, VT to Pasquale and Brona (Gryszko) Baldasaro. She graduated from Hartford High School, White River Jct., VT in 1954 and Leominster Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. Mary proudly was a Registered Nurse and worked at Leominster Hospital maternity ward for over 35 years retiring in 1996.
Mary had a special group of friends that got together often, especially birthdays, and called themselves The Old Ladies Club, of which she was president. We have many fond memories of celebrating her Halloween birthday with friends and extended family. She enjoyed knitting and vacations to Maine and Cape Cod and loved spending time with her 8 grandchildren.
Mary leaves her five children: Andrew R. Foster and his wife Nina of Leicester; Deborah J. Foster and her fiancé Mark Seibel of Haverhill; Stephen G. Foster and his wife Gwendolyn of Ashburnham; Bruce E. Foster of Leominster; Geralyn Jollimore and her husband Randall of Leominster: grandchildren Carolyn Foster, Megan Foster, Rebecca Foster, Stephen Foster, Ethan Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Troy Jollimore and Christopher Jollimore. She leaves her brother: Joseph J. Baldasaro and his wife Sharron of Coventry, RI; sister-in-law Donna Baldasaro of Dalton, MA; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Ralph E. Foster, Jr. in 2013 and her sister Anna Lamb in 2021 and brother Pasquale Baldasaro in 2023.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 3 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Leo Church at 11:00 A.M., 128 Main St., Leominster, MA followed by burial at St. Leo Cemetery.
