LEOMINSTER----Mary Jean (Esielionis) Scopelliti, 91 years old, of Leominster, died Friday, March 25, 2016 in the Golden Living Center in Fitchburg. She is survived by her daughter Debra A. Scopelliti of Leominster, granddaughter Stephanie A. Scopelliti of Leominster, sister Patricia Howe of Florida and brother John Esielionis of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Scopelliti, her sister Frances Cormier and her identical twin sister Annie DeMarco.
Mary was born May 17, 1924 in Nashua, New Hampshire, daughter of John P. and Caroline (Tubinis) Esielionis and grew up in Shirley. She had lived in Leominster for many years. Mary had worked in the PX at the former Fort Devens for several years. She was a member of St. Anna Parish in Leominster.
Funeral services and burial in St. Leo’s Cemetery will be private.
