Maurice C. DeLisle Sr.

Leominster—Maurice C. DeLisle Sr., 92, formerly of Ashburnham passed away on March 6,
2023. Maurice was born in Ashburnham on November 3, 1930, son of the late Aime and Louise
(Rufiange) DeLisle.

Maurice worked as a heat-treating technician for Simonds Saw and Steel until his retirement in
1992. He was also a member of the Ashburnham Fire Department for 16 years and the
Ashburnham Fire Association. He belonged both to the Daniel Simonds recreational and
Veterans Clubs and was a member of the Fitchburg Sportsman Club. Maurice was an avid hunter
and loved golfing, traveling and playing cards.

Maurice leaves his children, Gerald M. DeLisle of Jacksonville, FL, Lucy Delisle of Milford,
MA and Maurice C. DeLisle Jr. of Tuscon, AZ; grandchildren, Nicole Lopez of Long Beach,
CA, Danielle Welbe of Phoneix, AZ, Zachary DeLisle of Rindge, NH, Natasha Felton of Tucson,
AZ and Nikki DeLisle of Fitchburg, MA; great-grandchildren, Christian DeLisle of Jacksonville,
FL, Sayda Felton of Tucson, AZ, Aniya Felton of Tucson, AZ, Annabelle DeLisle of Rindge,
NH, Olivia Santiago of Fitchburg, MA, one sister, Jane Erickson of Leominster; nieces, nephews
and cousins.

He is predeceased by his wife Eileen M. (Henault) DeLisle in 2002; his seven sisters, Cecile
Rosbury, Lillian Pouliot, Lucy Fonatine, Eva Roy, Jeanette LeBlanc, Alice Rawlins and Denise
Revell. Maurice was also predeceased by his two brothers, Francis and Andrew DeLisle.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Gordon E.
